Lovely story!
My (then) husband lost his slightly loose weddingring while rowing in the canals of Amsterdam and it was gone for good. The wedding didn’t last, either.
So you are obviously going to be happily married for ever after!

As a wife (a newish wife, but a wife nonetheless) I must second your lesson A. We usually know what we are talking about especially when it comes to keeping the things that are important to us 🙂
